The crime writers of Scotland and England will take to the hallowed turf of Cowane’s Hospital bowling green once more to compete for The Bloody Cup. Scotland triumphed in 2017 with a storming 6–3 victory, sending Mark Billingham’s men homeward to think again. The word is that they have thought and they’re coming back hell-bent on revenge.

Final line-ups will, as ever, depend on fitness and deadlines but are set to include Chris Brookmyre, Craig Robertson and Doug Johnstone for Scotland, while England will feature Mark Billingham, Luca Veste and Howard Linskey.

Special thanks to Cowane’s Hospital Maintenance Trust (www.cowanes.org.uk) for use of their grounds.

FREE – just turn up on the day.
