From February through March the gardens and woods around the house are awash with a sea of Snowdrops. Many different species can be found and originally planted as single bulbs or in small clumps. The bulbs have over the years divided and spread over large areas of the garden. The Gargunnock Trustees and the Gardening Team support the Scottish Snowdrop Festival and the gardens are open to the public daily from 11 am to 3.30 pm. The plant stall located to the rear of the House, sells snowdrops that have been propagated in our nursery in the walled garden along with other plants.
Five acres of mature gardens, woodland walks, walled garden and 18th century doocot.
Walled garden now restored with new perennial borders, cut flowers, kitchen garden and newly planted orchard with picnic areas. See the gardeners propagation tunnels and the rhododendron nursery.
