We're celebrating 'World Rhino Day' on September 22nd with a weekend of activities, fun and rhino-sized competitions.
There has been an endangered species breeding programme at Blair Drummond for over fifteen years. Along with fundraising and awareness, this has played a crucial role in the conservation of the southern white rhinoceros, a species which was close to extinction just twenty years ago and now has an estimated global population of about 20,000.
Two-year-old Bonnie is the youngest rhino at Blair Drummond and the fifth to be born at the Safari Park. Come and meet her and the rest of the crash on the 22 - 23 September.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Rhino Weekend are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
