About Gruesome Games

The Gruesome Games are a new take on traditional lawn games that were made especially for The National Wallace Monument in 2017. Fun for all the family, these games are harder that they look. Don’t believe us? Come along and have a go!

Storm the Castle – Grab your cannonballs and take aim at the castle’s walls

Knock the Knight – You’re under attack! Use the bow and arrows to fight the enemy knight

Hook the Eyeball – Not for the faint hearted, use the rod to try to hook the eyeballs

Toss the Body Part - A gory twist on the traditional bean bag toss, toss the body part into the holes of the other team’s skeleton

Included in the normal admission price. Tickets can be bought online in advance or on the day.

Please note this event may be rescheduled (or cancelled) in the event of inclement weather.

Free parking is available.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Gruesome Games are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
