Join us for a 5-week introduction to mindfulness course. Learn the basics of mindfulness meditation and find out how mindfulness can be useful in our daily lives. The course will run on Monday nights, starting on 4th September for 5 weeks from 7-8.15pm. The sessions will contain a variety of mindful practices, with some discussions about what mindfulness is, how it can be useful, and how to use it in everyday life. There will also be hand-outs attached to each session and some suggested audio practices to use at home.
Do you feel over-loaded - that your mind is constantly busy, with no respite? This 5 week course will introduce you to the basic principles of mindfulness, including learning how to stop. The sessions will contain a variety of mindful meditations, helping you to tune in with the body and the breath, and learning how to bring focus to our often unfocused minds.
The course is aimed at beginners, and people who are looking to come back to a mindful practice. It may be too basic for experienced practitioners - but if you are unsure, please do get in touch to ask whether it would be suitable for you.

3. Calming the Mind
4. Working with Emotions
5. Compassion to Self and Others
