Snowdrop and Early Bulb Display and Lectures

About Snowdrop and Early Bulb Display and Lectures

SPRING FLOWERS IN DUNBLANE IN FEBRUARY.

Dozens of bowls of different snowdrops, crocus, Iris and species of narcissus vie for attention on the show benches. SRGC members travel from all over the country to share their plants with fellow members and the general public. Several nurseries will be there selling interesting plants and bulbs.

Janis Rucksans, from Riga in Latvia will give two lectures. The first on the Genus Crocus and the second on the Bulbs in his Latvian nursery. Janis is the world expert on Crocus and has unequalled experience of growing small hardy bulbs. He has introduced hundreds of varieties and species especially from Central Asia.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Snowdrop and Early Bulb Display and Lectures are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
