Record Store Day 2018 at Europa Music -10 Friars Street Stirling
Europa Music is getting ready for the 11th Independent Record Store Day on the 21st of April.
This is Europa’s big day of the year where we take part in a global celebration of independent record retail alongside thousands of other small music stores. Many people queue overnight to have a chance to purchase many of the hundreds of limited edition vinyl records on sale in the shop on the day. This year there are over 500 exclusive releases including David Bowie, Prince, Pink Floyd and Ocean Colour Scene to name just a few.
Europa Music is also hosting many live bands on Record Store Day starting from twelve midday.
Bands confirmed so far this year are:
Blind Lemon Gators
(60s Psych/Garage influenced Indie Rock n Roll)
Kelso and Russell
(Close Harmony/Singer Songwriter Duo)
(Local Singer Songwriter)
And more to be confirmed!
Many of our fellow local businesses in Friars Street, Baker Street and King Street are putting on offers and events as well so there will be something for everyone to enjoy on the day!
This event is now one of the must do things to do in Stirling.
