Summer Family Nature Club: Moths and Butterflies

About Summer Family Nature Club: Moths and Butterflies

The Forest Lodge is surrounded by incredible wildlife. We would like to welcome families to join the RSPB and Forestry Commission for some exciting sessions all about the wonderful wildlife we find here, from the tiniest beastie to the tallest tree.

Two identical session will be run on a Friday and Saturday each week, and there are six exciting themes to choose from. Each session will include some outdoor exploration and some indoor craft time.

In this session we will be emptying the moth trap full of creatures that fly at night, then hunt for butterflies and help us carry out the Big Butterfly Count!

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Summer Family Nature Club: Moths and Butterflies are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
