Perth Racecourse Family Day

About Perth Racecourse Family Day

With the school holidays in full swing, Perth Racecourse is gearing up to welcome racegoers of all ages back to the track this summer.

The popular Family Raceday takes place on Sunday 14 July and will feature a host of activities for little racegoers, as well as thrilling, top quality jump racing. And with kids going free, there’s no better time to enjoy a day out at the UK’s most northerly track.

Perfect for families and racing enthusiasts alike, Perth’s Family Raceday has long established itself as a firm favourite in the racing calendar. The Centre Course enclosure will be open for visitors to park their cars and enjoy a picnic or barbeque right in the heart of the action, with Grandstand tickets and hospitality packages also available.

In partnership with Action Glen and Inflatable Hire Scotland, the Centre Course enclosure will also be jam packed with activities for the kids. With everything from segways and archery, to laser combat, an avalanche climbing wall and a 100ft inflatable assault course, youngsters are guaranteed to be kept busy all day long.

Tennis lovers needn’t worry about missing the Wimbledon either as Perth will be live streaming the final on the big screens between racing. With a Pimm’s hut also on site, punters can enjoy all the action from centre court with a refreshing, fitting tipple.

Located in the picturesque parklands of Scone and just an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, getting to Perth Racecourse couldn’t be easier. The train station is only 3 miles away and frequent shuttle buses to the racecourse will also be running throughout the day.

Doors open at 11.30am with the first race scheduled for 2.05pm, and the last at 5.35pm.

Tickets for the Centre Course enclosure are priced at £15 and Grandstand tickets are available for £20. Under 18s go free with a paying adult. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.
