About Killearn Children’s Book Festival

We are delighted to unveil the first Killearn Children's Book Festival taking place in the rural Stirling village of Killearn. We have lined up 10 of Scotland's finest children's authors and illustrators to bring a fun and interactive day to Killearn Village Hall. You can expect everything from drawing, colouring and crafting to storytelling, poetry, dancing and music.

Sessions include:

Emily Dodd - Nature Stories
Lynne Rickards - Crafts and Stories
Natalie Russel - Lost for Words Bookmaking Workshop

Eilidh Muldoon - Make Your Own Guide Book
Shalla Gray - The Galloway Chilli
Simon Puttock - What are Words? And Why?


Come along, fire up your imagination and go home inspired to draw, read and write!

Tickets are free but as we expect this to be a popular event please register for the sessions you would like to attend.
