Come and join us for a guided walk and forage around the island at Kinneil Foreshore. Home to lots of exciting wildlife, we shall be focusing on Seabuckthorn.

A claimed 'superfood' these bright orange berries are packed full of Vitamin C!! They make fantastic juices and syrups and will to zest up any meal!! Try adding them to your early morning porridge or smoothie for a Vit C explosion. Come learn how to collect them and we will try our hand and making some tasty treats in this beautiful setting!'

What to bring with you – Appropriate outdoor clothes and boots or wellies.

How to get there: Kinneil Foreshore / Nature Reserve is on the north west edge of Bo’ness in central Scotland, just off the A904. If you’re travelling from other parts of central Scotland, use the M9 motorway and take the exits to Bo’ness. There is parking off Snab Lane, off Kinneil Road, and off Corbiehall. We will meet for 10am at Snab Lane car park.

Cost - This is a free training course, however, due to repeated non attendance on our free courses we require a small deposit to secure your place. Your deposit will only be refunded if you attend the event
