About Fara

FARA present a unique night of Christmas cheer – a medley of festive music, original song and tunes with a Christmas twist which will provide audiences with a lot to celebrate this coming festive season.

Fara combines four musicians at the forefront of today’s Scottish folk scene – Jennifer Austin, Kristan Harvey, Jeana Leslie and Catriona Price – to produce a fiery sound rooted strongly in their Orcadian upbringing. With vibrant arrangements full of rich harmonies, stunning vocals, energetic fiddle playing and driving piano, Fara’s music is a thrilling mixture of self-penned songs and traditional Orkney tunes.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Fara are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
