Dr Miles Oglethorpe, Head of Industrial Heritage at Historic Environment Scotland, talks about the bridge’s journey to World Heritage status. This lecture will describe what it took to prepare the nomination dossier, who had to be involved and what happened after it was submitted to UNESCO. It will also explain why the Forth Bridge is worthy of inclusion on the World Heritage List.

The talk is organised by the Friends of the Smith to support the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum.
