Opera Highlights

About Opera Highlights

Opera Highlights is back on the road, with a brand new production directed by Sara Brodie. Join four talented singers and a pianist as they travel to 18 venues around Scotland this Spring.

The show's expertly curated selection of music celebrates the best of opera, including works from Carmen, Don Giovanni and Die Fledermaus, and some lesser-known pieces from some of the world's greatest composers, including Offenbach and Tchaikovsky.

Scottish mezzo Heather Ireson, baritone Harry Thatcher, Samling Young Artist Tom Smith and Lucy Anderson, a Scottish Opera Emerging Artist 2018/19, form the wonderful British cast. Elizabeth Rowe (Opera Highlights 2017) returns as Music Director and Pianist.

Whether you are new to opera, or you are a seasoned fan, Opera Highlights offers a perfect evening's entertainment.

Supported by The Friends of Scottish Opera, JTH Charitable Trust and The Scottish Opera Endowment Trust
