About Traditional Tunes for Tiny Tots

Colourstrings Dunblane presents: Traditional Tunes for Tiny Tots

For parents, carers and wee ones from 0 to 5 years (older siblings also welcome!)

Get ready to clap, sing and dance along to folk musicians Claire Hastings and Grant McFarlane at a concert specially designed for a very young audience.

Singer/ukulele player Claire Hastings and accordionist Grant McFarlane are two well-established musicians on the Scottish folk scene. Grant has twice been a finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year award, and Claire was the 2015 winner. As well as performing, both are involved in various teaching projects throughout Scotland.

The duo have worked on a number of projects for young children, exposing them to traditional Scottish music and songs. This interactive performance include a closer look at the instruments, sing-along songs with actions and tunes for dancing, all of which encourage everyone to get involved!

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Traditional Tunes for Tiny Tots are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
