Do you want to find out more about working with children AND animals…?

If so, this is the event for you!

Join us to find out more about a range of creative approaches to working with children, including Play Therapy, Animal Assisted Interventions, and Animal Assisted Play Therapy.

We are delighted to be hosting the internationally renowned Dr Risë Van Fleet and Tracie Faa-Thompson, co-founders of the International Institute for Animal Assisted Play Therapy. Learn about excellent practice and acquire an insight into Animal Assisted Play Therapy involving a range of animals through their interactive workshops (6 hours over 2 days).

Featuring talks from a range of organisations currently working with children needing additional support for a range of reasons e.g. communication difficulties, a diagnosis such as ASD, changing school a lot, difficulty in controlling behaviour and / or being in care. The excellent line up of speakers includes representatives from With Kids, Dogs for Good, Dogs Helping Kids, and Paws for Progress.

Everyone welcome, regardless of your experience or profession! Ideal for practitioners, teachers and animal training professionals.

Tickets available for 2 days or 1. Lunch and refreshments included in ticket price. We would highly recommend attending both days to make the most of the learning and networking opportunities.

We are offering a limited number of tickets at an early bird rate to make the event as affordable as possible, so make sure that you book your tickets soon! Early bird ticket holders will also receive a free branded Paws for Progress dog bandana in your delegate pack.
