Bloody Scotland: McIlvanney Debut Prize

About Bloody Scotland: McIlvanney Debut Prize

Meet the class of 2019, Scotland’s brightest and shiniest new crime writing talent. The panel will be formed by the shortlist for the inaugural McIlvanney Debut Prize as voted for by our readers – Claire Askew, Bill Jones, G R Halliday, M R Mackenzie and Allan Martin.

Scottish crime writing has never been in finer fettle than it is right now, and this event will be a wonderful chance to meet five authors whose first book has marked them out for great things. Is the next Rankin, McDermid or McIlvanney among them? This is your opportunity to find out.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Bloody Scotland: McIlvanney Debut Prize are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
