Enjoy a climb up Gillie Hill on a fairly steep old overgrown forestry track in this 7 mile walk with Stirling, Falkirk and District Ramblers on Sunday 22nd September!

About Gillies Hill

Description: 7 miles Ascent 700ft. This is a circular walk.

We go via Tinker's Loan to Polmaise Road then climb Gillies Hill on a fairly steep old overgrown forestry track.

We then come down a steep slippery path to Murrayshall Quarry. From there we make our way back via Middlethird and Sauchieburn. Very boggy in places.

Walking shoes or boots and warm waterproof clothing required. Bring food and drink for the day.
