Spring is here, and the buds are turning into leaves! This is a great time to get out, and learn to see and recognise the trees around us.
Join us on an exciting morning of observing, learning together and paying attention to the trees around the Croft and the Links Park. We are lucky to live in a city where the streets and parks grow a diversity of trees, and through knowing to recognise them, we expand our ability to notice the non-human on our day to day movements. You will be learning tips and observational skills, and leave with your own pocket-sized artwork to help you recognise trees around the city.
If you took part in the tree naming workshop that ran in February, know that I have chosen an expanded itinerary that will take us around the Links Park, and this time we will be looking at new features of trees, such as leaves and flowers! Lots to be excited about!
Additional information:
