How should a new and co-operative media work, and what should it cover?
Join The Ferret at our 2019 Summer Gathering at the University of Stirling to discuss ways to improve media accountability and effectiveness, hear expert views on some of the main issues we work on and gain the skills we use to learn the facts.
Taking place from 11.15am on Saturday, 31st August 2019 in the Logie Lecture Theatre at the University of Stirling, The Ferret Summer Gathering will look at:
Media accountability and transparency - Does the media serve the people? How can we improve transparency? Where does the power lie?
Land ownership - We asked what to investigate next, and you answered. Do we need land reform? Who owns Scotland?
Privatisation and outsourcing - What impact does outsourcing have on the public sector?
