About The Choir of Birmingham Cathedral
At midday on Saturday 15th February, Dunblane Cathedral will be hosting a free concert performed by the choir of Birmingham Cathedral.
The visiting choir are the combined forces of the boys’ and girls’ choirs at Birmingham Cathedral, who alongside professional lay clerks sing at five services per week, as well as recent broadcasts for Radio 3 and various CD recordings.
Directed by David Hardie and accompanied by organist Ashley Wagner, the choir will be performing Handel’s “Zadok the Priest”, Allegri’s “Miserere” and music by Bairstow, Brahms, Bruckner, Grieg, Haydn, Holst & Mozart.
The concert is free with a retiring collection for the homelessness charity “Social Bite”.
