* increase absorption of nutrients
* rich in vitamins K, C, A, B, B12
* high in minerals calcium, phosphorus, potassium
* boost immune system

* improve mood & cognitive function
* moderate oxidative stress & reduce inflammation

Learn how to make your own ferments using ancient preserving techniques. During this 3 hour workshop we will look at how to safely prepare a selection of fermented foods and drinks, such as kimchi, sauerkraut, tepache, garlic in honey, and fermented hot sauce. You will get to taste a variety of cultured foods and drinks and take your own jar of fermenting goodness home with you. You are also invited to bring along your favourite knife, a chopping board, and an apron so that you can make this workshop as hands-on as you like.
