Join the Scottish Wildlife Trust Rangers from Jupiter Urban Wildlife Centre for a leisurely guided walk along the Forth & Clyde canal at the Helix, followed by an art workshop led by local artist Carolyn Fraser.
We will discover the plants, insects and birds which call the canal home, and then create our own artworks, inspired by the natural wonders of the canal. We will then join these together to create one large, collaborative artwork which will be displayed in the Jupiter visitor centre.
18+. Booking essential, £8 per person. All materials will be provided.
Event organised by Canal Encounters. Canal Encounters was created by Falkirk Community Trust, Great Place Falkirk and Scottish Canals, with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Event Scotland.
