In this event, Professor Rebecca Madgin from the University of Glasgow will launch a project report on built heritage and introduce a concept called 'personalities of historic places' which captures why and how people form emotional attachments to historic places and discuss with leading representatives from organisations involved in heritage management what this concept means for present and future policies and practices.
