However you pronounce it (we all know it is correctly pronounced scone) we can all agree we love them. Join Dez for this scone cook-along session, or just watch and chat. A full ingredient list is provided below and feel free to add your own flavours too.
This workshop assumes no previous knowledge and everybody is welcome. We will guide you through every step of the way. It will be held online on Zoom and a link will be emailed to you when you register for the event.
Ingredients:
400g All purpose flour
1tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
2tsp garlic powder
115g vegan butter (I find Vegan Block is best for baking)
30g nutritional yeast
c.85g spinach (frozen, defrosted and drained or wilted fresh)
120g artichoke hearts
250ml plant milk (unsweetened)
1 flax egg (made by mixing 2 tbsp ground flax seed with 3 tbsp water)
You will also need a mixing bowl, oven and baking tray.
