With an ever-increasing focus on sustainability and healthy living Victoria Square and the Orangery Restaurant is collaborating with Whitehouse Foraging to bring you a combined foraging and dining experience on Thursday 21 April and a repeat event on Saturday 28 May.
The day will begin at 1pm with reception and briefing in the Orangery Restaurant, before moving out to local foraging sites. Under the expert guidance of Whitehouse Foraging there will be an opportunity learn about springtime foraging and to collect your own foraged ingredients to take home. It is expected that we will return to Victoria Square before 5pm. Dinner will be served at 6pm in the Orangery Restaurant and will consist of a special menu incorporating seasonal foraged ingredients.
The cost for this event is £95 per person. This includes reception ‘nibbles’, transport to the foraging sites, expert foraging tuition and a three-course special dinner.
Accommodation may be available for participants. Any guests wishing to stay can book at www.victoriasquare.scot, the discount code Foraging will secure a £10 per room discount off current rates for the night of the event.
More details of recommended clothing and equipment will be provided nearer the time, but all guests will need outdoor clothing (including waterproofs). Any participants with either mobility impairment or dietary restrictions are recommended to seek clarification before booking. Any questions should be referred to Victoria Square and the Orangery Restaurant by email to Info@victoriasquare.scot or by telephoning 01786 473920.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
