Needle felt a blue tit – hanging ornament
Join us at Made in Stirling to make your own little needle felted blue tit, framed in an embroidery hoop for hanging. Full tuition and all materials will be provided. Your kits will include:
4.5 x 5.5 inch dense foam pad;
Two felting needles;
A 4 inch wooden embroidery hoop;
One square of linen with a template design; and
Ten colours of carded Corriedale wool.
This course is suitable for beginners, as well as those with some prior experience of felting. Due to sharp needles, this workshop is not recommended for young children, and children over 12 should be supervised by an adult.
Your final piece, felting mat, needles and any left over wool are yours to keep at the end of the workshop!
Class sizes are kept smaller due to Covid-19, and we ask participants to please wear a mask, unless exempt, for the duration of the workshop to help protect yourself and others.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
