Join us for this fundraising crochet workshop. Learn or develop a skill and help out at the same time!
Conclude the long Bank Holiday with a relaxed mind and your own handmade scrunchie! Join us on Thursday 2nd June and express your creativity while raising crucial funds for Dig Deep Africa.
In this workshop you will learn to crochet a hair scrunchie thanks to a very basic but versatile technique that could be developed into a bigger project like a bag and more!
Don't worry about equipment or crochet skills, everything will be provided (snacks included!) but please feel free to bring your own yarn and crochet hooks if you have any spare ones.
This event is brought to you by a volunteer fundraiser who pledges to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to support Dig Deep's mission. The charity has been providing clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene to the most remote areas of Kenya since 2017, managing to improve more than 120,000 lives, but with your help they could do so much more!
Suggested donation entrance fee of £10 (paid at the venue, cash or card) which covers all the essentials during the workshop however, please note that this is only an indicative fee as we want everyone to be able to attend this event, so any donation is welcome.
Everyone is welcome but please note that anyone under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
