Delivered in collaboration between Forth Valley Unity and the University of Stirling through the BeConnected programme, this series brings together students, staff, families, and the wider community to share the experience of Ramadan in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Throughout the month of Ramadan, we will be hosting four Saturday evening community iftars at Level 3, Campus Central (NOTE: the final week will be held in Pathfoot Dining Room within the Pathfoot Building - please see week 4 event page for full details) - set within the University of Stirling’s beautiful campus.

Each evening, attendees are invited to come together to break their fast with a hot, home-cooked meal lovingly prepared by members of our generous Muslim community. The food is shared freely, with plenty for everyone, creating a warm, homely atmosphere that reflects the true spirit of Ramadan.

The programme is supported by student societies across campus, including the Islamic Society, Ahlul Bayt Society, MENA Society, Pakistani Society, and others, helping make each evening diverse, welcoming, and community-driven.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are fasting or not, Muslim or non-Muslim, a student, staff member, or local resident. These gatherings are about connection, understanding, and sharing good food in good company.

Full dates, timings, and individual event pages are available on the Ramadan programme page. Please reach out to events@fvu.org.uk if you require any more information. Follow along and save the series to stay updated as Ramadan approaches.
