In this full-day workshop, you'll create a beautiful mosaic garden stake, suitable for outdoors all year round, personalised with the colours and materials you choose!

You’ll work with glass, tiles, bone china, and other mosaic materials to create a unique stake based like those pictured. The finished size of the mosaicked part will be about 30-40cm high x 10cm wide. Rhona will guide you step-by-step, helping you build on your skills as you plan and assemble your design.
During the workshop, you’ll learn about:
• Materials suitable for long-lasting exterior mosaics
• The most effective tools and how to use them confidently
• Techniques for cutting glass, tiles, bone china, and more
• How to use tile adhesive to set your cut-up materials
It would be beneficial if you have a little bit of prior experience with mosaics or glass cutting, whether from one of Rhona’s workshops, another course or experimenting at home. But beginners are welcome if you’re happy it’s a busy – but fun! – day.
