Sword in the Stone: A Legendary Family Adventure
This spring, you are invited to explore the forest, rebuild the story, and draw the Sword in a magical, self-led adventure inspired by the legendary tale of King Arthur.
Hidden across Kelburn Castle & Estate, the ancient story of the Sword and the Stone is stirring once more. Spring has returned, but the legend is broken. Its pages are lost, its magic scattered, and only new heroes can help restore it.
Families will explore the estate at their own pace, searching the forest for lost story pages, helping to solve puzzles and playing games, and uncovering clues that slowly rebuild the legend. Along the way, you will meet characters from the story, take part in interactive activities, and prepare themselves for the moment every hero dreams of…
Drawing the Sword from the Stone.
Tickets include full-day entry to the event and Kelburn Castle & Estate grounds.
Arrive at a time that suits you and spend the day exploring the estate, taking part in the adventure, and becoming part of the legend.
The event quest takes approximately 1.5–2 hours to complete, so please allow enough time during your visit.
What to expect:
• A self-led adventure across areas of the estate
• Meet legendary characters including Merlin and King Arthur
• Games and puzzles to help rebuild the story and prove your heart
• Activities such as jousting and tug of war
• Face Painting (extra charge)
Important details:
• Allow 1.5 – 2 hours to complete the experience
• Best suited for children aged 4–12
• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Takes place outdoors – please dress for the weather

Whether your child dreams of becoming a knight, solving ancient riddles, or stepping into a living storybook, Sword & the Stone is a memorable Easter experience for the whole family.
Will you be the one to rebuild the story and draw the sword?
