Inspired by the beauty of the Cromlix garden at the height of summer, this relaxed and therapeutic watercolour workshop is a wonderful opportunity to discover a new creative skill in truly stunning surroundings.
Floral and textile artist Clare Robinson will guide you through the art of loose style watercolour painting, using seasonal herbs and foliage gathered fresh from our organic garden as your subject. Beginning with the fundamentals, Clare will demonstrate techniques throughout the day and offer generous one-on-one guidance to help you develop your own expressive style, whether you have never picked up a paintbrush before or are looking to build on existing skills.
By the end of the day you will have created your own original watercolour artwork to take home, alongside the skills and confidence to keep painting.
Your workshop will take place in our Library, before moving through to the Study for our signature Afternoon Tea. A wonderful opportunity to relax and share your creations with new-found friends.
Your day includes:
• Guided watercolour tuition with Clare Robinson
• All materials - paints, brushes, watercolour paper and pencils
• Arrival refreshments and signature Afternoon Tea served in our Study
To reserve your place for this special day, please call the team on 01786 820310 or email events@cromlix.com.
Price: £145 per person, inclusive of the watercolour workshop, refreshments and afternoon tea
