Join us at Studio 164 for a relaxing watercolour workshop devoted to the art of floral painting.
Hosted by floral and textile artist Clare Robinson, this workshop is designed to introduce beginners and intermediates to the medium of loose-style watercolour, helping you nurture and develop your own style.
You will learn how to illustrate seasonal flowers and foliage, experimenting with loose-style watercolour technique to convey the beautiful, rich colours and textures of the season.
It’s a relaxed, informal class, and everyone goes at their own pace.
Clare will demonstrate over the morning, and there will be plenty of one-on-one guidance to help enhance your observation and expressive painting skills. We will explore quick sketching with watercolours, pencils and pen too.
The workshop will include all art materials and flowers, but if you have your own art materials, you are more than welcome to bring them along.
