We welcome anyone who likes the sound of Gaelic music or who is interested in finding out more about it. You don't have to be an experienced or confident singer; there are no auditions. And you do not need to be a Gaelic speaker;we have our own tutor to help us with learning the sounds of the language. We are a sociable and friendly choir; we take part in local charity events and also in competitions where we meet other Gaelic choirs.
We have weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays, 7.30-10.00 pm, based in Logie Kirk Hall, Causewayhead. There are good disabled facilities. We also welcome people who do not speak English as their first language.
Come along to one of our rehearsals to meet the choir and find out more about it. Singing is good for your health and Stirling Gaelic Choir will give you a great welcome.
Come and Sing With Us! Stirling City Choir has been a well-loved fixture in Stirling since the mid-1850s and we welcome all ages and voices.
