Our legendary historic tours explore the cobbled streets around Stirling Old Town below Stirling Castle and the Stirling Highland Hotel. Discover the secrets of the Royal Burgh! Our Old Town tours offer a hilarious mix of comedy, drama and storytelling with local guides!

Let our guides take you on a sightseeing tour through the curious nooks and crannies of the Burgh, revealing some of Stirling's strangest tales. Hear how the Tolbooth Prison became famed as "the worst gaol in Britain", of the magical curse placed upon Mar’s Wark by the fiery Abbot of Cambuskenneth, and all manner of mayhem, mischief and mystery.

STIRLING CASTLE & THE SECRETS OF THE OLD TOWN

Join our guided sightseeing tour of Stirling Old Town followed by visit to the mighty Stirling Castle.

Discover the highlights of Stirling Old Town! Led by Blue Badge accredited guides, our tours offer a unique journey round the sites, stories and secrets of the historic Old Town you might otherwise miss.

Stirling Old Town has perhaps the finest concentration of medieval buildings in Scotland. Our local guide will bring the history of the Old Town alive with fascinating stories from Stirling’s rich and colourful past.

This is followed by a visit to Stirling Castle, arguably Scotland’s finest. Be amazed by the stunning stronghold of Stirling Castle, step back into the world of the Royal Court. Our guide will give you and introductory tour of the Castle and then leave you to explore the world of renaissance Scotland and the Royal Court.
