The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show brings 200 of the UK’s best touring brands together under one roof, including state-of-the-art motorhomes, stylish caravans and campervans, tents, trailer tents, luxury lodges, marine and boating products and camping accessories.
The largest of its kind in Scotland, the event takes over the SEC, which is playing host to COP26 in November, for a four-day long exhibition showcasing the UK’s biggest and best touring brands and products.
As well as a fantastic selection of products to explore, experts will also be on hand to give advice on the best touring locations, product recommendations and general tips for enjoying a touring holiday in the UK or abroad. Providing tourers and holidaymakers with the perfect getaway inspiration for the year ahead, there will be information available from holiday parks as well as major clubs and associations including the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the Camping and Caravanning Club. Tourers can also enjoy free tuition from qualified Caravan and Motorhome Club instructors at the event, with towing tutorials and practice manoeuvring sessions*, and there will even be an area for visitors to test E-Bikes.
In addition to touring products and expert advice, the exhibition has an artisan Farmers Market with over producers selling hundreds of award-winning, locally produced products. Featured at the market are unique cheeses, confectionery, liqueur, and soaps, as well as the latest outdoor fashions and homeware for campervans and caravans.
Darren Brechin, Group Show Director said: “Over the past year, we’ve seen a spike in demand for touring holidays due to Covid, with more people now opting to explore the great Scottish outdoors instead of going abroad, so we’re expecting to welcome a lot of new faces to this year’s event.
“The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home show is all about showing our visitors the different ways you can make the most out of your holiday, whether that’s touring the North Coast 500 with friends, relaxing with family at a holiday park or exploring Europe’s top beaches in a motorhome.
“We’re delighted to welcome back the UK’s biggest touring brands to the SEC to showcase a new portfolio of products for 2022, and welcome visitors back to our Holiday Park Village, where holiday park operators from around the UK will be highlighting their unique offering.
“There’s no showcase quite like this in the UK, and we’re proud to be able to offer this great event in the heart of Glasgow.”
