MARCH INTO FLAVOUR: A MONTH-LONG CELEBRATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FORTH VALLEY FOOD AND DRINK
STEP, in partnership with Forth Valley Food and Drink, is thrilled to announce a series of engaging business events throughout March, celebrating and supporting the region’s vibrant food, drink and tourism industry.
Hosted at STEP’s Stirling Enterprise Park, the programme of free to attend events is designed to bolster businesses in the sector, by offering a platform for networking and shared learning. There’ll also be a local producers showcase to top off the month.
The line-up kicks off on Friday 1 March with a Food and Drink Employers Forum from 9.30am-12.30pm.
STEP’s Food, Drink and Tourism Business Advisor Linda Letford said: “During this dynamic morning session, we’ll delve into the key issues affecting the Food, Drink and Hospitality sector.
“We’ll discuss addressing the skills gap, giving updates on HR and Employment Law, and explore funding opportunities and pathways for young people into the industry.
“Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a panel-style event with the opportunity to submit questions in advance.”
The foodie theme continues on Friday 15 March with Forth Valley Food, Drink and Tourism Industry Forum from 9.30am-12.30pm.
Jenn McArthur, Marketing and Business Development Director at STEP, said: “Join the discussion and help us shape the future of food and drink in Forth Valley.
“With a blend of networking opportunities, key industry insights and informative presentations, this event is aimed at enhancing understanding of the food, drink and tourism industry in the region.”
The themed month concludes with a Meet the Producers event on Wednesday 27 March from 9.30am-12.30pm.
Forth Valley Food and Drink co-ordinator Stacey Spence said: “Our Meet the Producers event is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the remarkable produce available right on our doorstep.
“Sample local delicacies at our 'Tasting Tables' and explore opportunities for sourcing these products for your own business.
"We’re anticipating a strong appetite for this and the other events, so make sure to reserve your spot in advance."
