The vibrant plants have been funded and organised by Go Forth Stirling BID and can be found brightening up the city in Station Road Square, Murray Place, Pitt Terrace, King Street, Wellgreen Road and Melville Terrace.
There are 56 attractive planters – all of which are pollinator-friendly - which are being regularly maintained by Stirling Community Enterprise.
The Go Forth team are now looking for community groups who would be interested in adopting the city’s ground-level flower beds.
Danielle McRorie-Smith, Project Director at Go Forth, said: “We have assumed the funding and responsibility for the planters due to city centre budget constraints.
“Ensuring Stirling is blooming with beautiful planters is part of our bid to make the city a more welcoming destination for shoppers and business owners. We’ve also been organising litter picks and community clean-ups as part of that remit.
“The floral arrangements help give the city centre an inviting, vibrant appearance and we’ve had a lot of positive feedback from visitors and the business community about how good they look.”
She added: “All the plants in the planters have been selected with bees in mind and feature pollinator-friendly native species which promote biodiversity.
“Stirling Community Enterprise are doing a fantastic job of maintaining them and we are now seeking community groups who would be interested in looking after some of the ground-level flower beds in the city centre. Anyone who can help should contact the office via admin@goforthstirling.co.uk”
The Go Forth team have also been busy organising and funding 21 banners, created by local artist David Galletly and featuring themes from the Stirling 900 mural, to display around the city.
The banners have been installed in King Street and will also be displayed at the King's Knot, on Dumbarton Road outside the Albert Halls and on Goosecroft Road near the bus station.
David, who designed the Stirling 900 mural which adorns one side of Station Square, picked out several concepts from his artwork – People, History and City – to create the colourful themed banners.
Ms McRorie-Smith said: “We thought it would be a good idea to dress up the city and promote its landmark 900th anniversary by having versions of David’s original artwork on display in different parts of Stirling.
“We’re really pleased with his banner designs and the way they showcase Stirling’s rich history.”
Go Forth Stirling BID (Business Improvement District) represents more than 600 business owners with a key objective of increasing visitors to the city and devising initiatives to help make it a more welcoming environment for businesses and shoppers.
