Headlining the day is Danny Campbell, architect and presenter from BBC Scotland’s Home of the Year.
He will lead three inspiring design workshops, sharing expert tips and practical advice on how to refresh and style your home.
There are 15 spaces available in each of the three workshops. Tickets are free of charge and available on a first come, first served basis.
Dougie Donnelly, the sports presenter known for being the face of Sterling Home in the 1990s and the catchphrase ‘Sterling Tillicoultry near Stirling’, will also be in attendance on the day to celebrate his recent 50-year anniversary in broadcasting.
Customers are in with the chance to win a Sterling Home gift voucher, up to the value of £500, in collaboration with Central FM. On the day, golden tickets will be hidden throughout the store for customers to find. Lucky winners can claim their prize by bringing their ticket to the Central FM team at their live broadcast station.
Ahead of the event, Central FM will also be giving away a £1000 Sterling Home voucher to one lucky listener. This will be drawn on Friday, 20 February. Tune in to the station to find out how to enter.
Alongside the workshops and prizes, the event will offer plenty to keep the whole family entertained, from 10-4pm.
A facepainting station will be set-up instore from 12-4pm, and a bouncy castle will be available in the garden centre area between 10am and 4pm. In the café, children will eat for free when an adult main meal is purchased, making it an easy and affordable family day out.
Euan Graham, Buying and Marketing Director at Sterling Home, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Danny Campbell and Dougie Donnelly to our store for what promises to be a fantastic day.
“Our recent refurbishment has given customers even more inspiration for their homes, and this event is all about bringing that to life with expert advice, family activities and a great atmosphere in-store.”
