What started as a small dream in Clacks has now become one of Scotland’s most anticipated annual whisky events — and this year’s birthday bash will be the festival’s most ambitious edition yet.
Festival-goers can look forward to sampling hundreds of whiskies from across Scotland and around the globe, alongside coopering demonstrations, live music, a fully stocked bar, fantastic food, and — for the very first time — the unveiling of our brand-new Heritage Exhibition, created in partnership with local graphic designers, Design & Print Scotland.
We’re also proud to welcome back our retail partner WoodWinters Wines & Whiskies, who will once again be offering festival-goers the chance to purchase many of the spirits they discover on the day. Our glassware for 2026 is generously provided by our Glass Sponsor: Summerton Whisky Club, ensuring every attendee enjoys the perfect tasting experience.
Alongside the whisky and heritage celebrations, the festival continues to champion its equally important Wellness Strand, raising money and awareness for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
A Community That Keeps Giving Back
While Clackmannanshire is the heart and home of our festival family, the impact we’ve made together spans both our Clacks and Edinburgh Whisky Festivals. Across these events, our supporters, exhibitors and wider whisky community have helped us raise an incredible:
£26,625.67 for Motor Neuron Disease across our festivals.
When we include our earlier charity partnership with Neil’s Hugs Foundation, our Wellness Strand has now raised a remarkable £31,650.00 for local and national causes.
And we’re only getting started with the launch of our 3rd festival in Dundee in June.
New for 2026: Main Sponsors of the Slanj Events Trogs
In 2026, Slanj Events is deepening its commitment to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation by becoming the Main Sponsor of the Slanj Events Troglodytes — the local team taking on Doddie Aid 2026.
Led by local man Barry Macpherson of Alloa Hire Centre, Dougie Vipond, and an enthusiastic crew of local legends, the Slanj Events Trogs will be tackling the challenge head-on this March — pushing their legs, lungs and perhaps their sanity far beyond sensible limits to help raise awareness and money for a cause that matters deeply to the community.
Serena Lindsay, Director of Slanj Events said: “Reaching our fifth year in Clackmannanshire means more to me than I can properly put into words. Clacks is where this whole adventure began — our reason, our starting point, our baby — and it remains a firm favourite not just with locals, but with exhibitors and attendees who travel to our bigger city festivals as well.
Watching this community show up for us year after year, helping us raise over £31,000 for charity, makes me unbelievably proud. This year’s festival is our biggest yet, and I cannot wait to celebrate everything we’ve built together.”
