BALFRON HERITAGE GROUP's exhibition commemorates Balfron's role in the 1820 Scottish Insurrection tracing the history of Scotland's 18th century rebellions to restore monarchs to the 19th century uprising to give people better conditions and a say in running their country. It also tells the story of Balfron's unusual end to its Radical uprising which leads to the heart of capital of the United States of America.

Venue: Balfron Library, 71 Buchanan Street, Balfron

This event is fully funded by Stirling Council’s Community Grants Scheme.
