About The Albert Halls

Since its opening over a hundred years ago, the Albert Halls has been at the heart of Stirling's artistic and civic life, attracting many high-profile concerts and conferences and acting as a focus for the local community.

Situated only a few minutes walk from the city centre, this imposing venue features two main spaces that form the setting for a range of ceremonies, celebrations, conferences and fantastic performances.

The main hall, with its large stage and balcony, has hosted some show stopping performances over the years from the likes of Mark Knophler, Al Murray, Morrissey and many more. Seating a maximum of over 500 across the main floor and balcony, it continues to be the venue of choice for everything from classic concerts and ballet to stand-up comedy and tribute shows.

The main hall is also the perfect setting for conferences, wedding receptions and private celebrations.

In addition to this, the Lesser Hall on the first floor is a smaller space with large windows running the full length of the room. Accommodating up to 100 people for a standing reception, the Lesser Hall is a wonderful setting for drinks receptions and intimate wedding dinners.

The venue boasts a dedicated events team, ready to plan and manage the event along with a range of furniture and audio visual support.

Weddings at The Albert Halls

Weddings at The Albert Halls mean the very best in service and accommodation, helping to make your special day one to remember.

We can accommodate any size, from the intimate family to a large reception of up to 200 guests.

The Main Hall is located on the ground floor, opposite the main entrance. Once through these double doors the space opens up to the full height of the Albert Halls making it a very impressive room. It is perfect for hosting your wedding day meal for up to 200 guests and an evening reception for up to 200 guests with a spacious dancefloor.

The Lesser Hall is on the first floor and is a warm, inviting room with large windows running its full length. The windows overlook the front of the Albert Halls and flood the Lesser Hall with bright, natural light all year round. The Lesser Hall is perfect for wedding ceremonies and partnerships, as well as ideal for drinks receptions and wedding day receptions for up to 60 guests.
