Antenatal Yoga Classes Thursday Evenings - 6.50pm - 8.15pm

YogaBellies® Yoga for Pregnancy classes are gentle and safe for all women,
whether new to Yoga or with years of practice. Each class lasts 1hr 15 minutes and each week focuses on a different aspect of pregnancy and birth.

This is more than just a yoga class, but also training in deep relaxation and preparation for birth and motherhood. We practice yoga postures suitable for pregnancy and birth, adjusted for each trimester; invaluable breathing techniques for pregnancy and labour and also relaxation and meditation techniques that mum can also use once baby arrives.

Postnatal Exercise/Yoga
Mum & Baby Yoga - Wednesday Mornings - 10am - 11am
Mummy Meet-up - Wednesday Mornings 11am - 12noon

Our unique YogaBellies For Mum and Baby Yoga focuses on gently rebuilding our Back, Abdomen and Pelvic Floor Muscles - the BAPS!

Our unique YogaBellies for Mum & Baby classes last around an hour and involve yoga for mum, yoga for baby and some lovely deep relaxation together. Our Mum and Baby Yoga classes include yoga postures for mum AND for baby; this is not just 'baby yoga.' All of the postures can be practiced with or without your baby, depending on how you prefer to focus. Sometimes the class is quiet and sometimes there is crying. Sometimes the babies are full of fun and sometimes they want to snuggle up to mummy and feed. Sometimes the mums are knackered and sometimes they're full of beans. But there are always appropriate practices for each pair. For all ages, the class has a co-operative spirit of ‘give and take’, alternating yoga for babies, with yoga for mums and yoga together.

A typical session includes baby stretches to take small bodies through a full range of movement which often astonishes (and inspires) their mums including incorporating baby massage; breathing and focused yoga postures for the mums, and postures-for-two to give mums and babies new ways to relate to each other.
For mummies, we focus on gently working the abdominal muscles, slowly getting mummy back to pre-baby shape and helping to build strength, stamina and fitness.
We recommend you start at least 6 weeks after the birth. If you have had a caesarean section, then we recommend 8-10 weeks. As always, the most important thing is to listen to your body, if you are in any pain or discomfort, wait a few weeks.

Each block of classes is 6 weeks long and at the end of the block you will have the option to continue your practice until baby is mobile:
£54 for 6 week blocks including:
* 6 weeks of postnatal yoga and baby yoga classes;
* Downloads of our YogaBellies Mummy Pack with videos, music and sequence downloads and much more...

I look forward to sharing this magical journey with you and welcoming you into the YogaBellies Community! 💖
