Hear stories of wild things round the fire and have a go at making stories up as we venture into Mugdock’s wild places. For 8-12 year olds. No parents.
Tuesday 11th April - Wizards, Wands and Woodlands
Give Harry a run for his money by making your very own wand from wood found in our forests. This event will include working with small knives. For 8-12 year olds. No parents.
Thursday 13th April - Wildlife discovery
Discover Mugdock’s fascinating world of ponds, beasties, wild poo, tracks, trees and plants as we venture through the wilds. For 8-12 year olds. No parents.
Sunday 23rd April - Wildlife challenge
Games, quizzes and challenges with a nature theme for young folk.
For 8-12 year olds. Meet at Visitor Centre. No parents. Max 8.
Sunday 14th May - Orienteering Treasure Hunt for young beginners
Discover the wonderful world of orienteering whilst seeking out treasure. For 13-16 year olds. No parents.
Sunday 28th May - Bows, Arrows and Target Practice
Make a bow and some arrows and see if you can hit the target. This event will include working with small knives. For 8-12 year olds. No parents.
Meet at Visitor Centre. Bring clothing and footwear suitable to the outdoors and getting mucky.
