Sunday 24th April: Fire Fun
Help gather wood and be shown how to build, light, cook on and sustain a campfire. For 13-16 year olds. Cost £8.
Sunday 8th May: Art in the Park
Get creative in the wilds of Mugdock on this session of ground art making and other arty activities for 8-12 year olds. Cost £8.
Sunday 22nd May: Ponds Alive
Our ponds are teeming with life and at this time of year can be an extra special visual delight. Come and discover for yourself. Activity for 8-12 year olds. Cost £8.
Thursday 2nd June: Bows, Arrows and Target Practice
Make a bow and some arrows and see if you can hit the target. For 8-12 year olds. Cost £8.
Sunday 19th June: Shelters, Stories and Summer
Explore the woods and create a shelter to protect from the weather, then delve into folklore and hear stories of our wild places. Activities for 8-12 year olds. Cost £8.
Monday 4th July: Discovering Campsie Glen
Join the Ranger at this popular local beauty spot to carry out a wide range of nature themed activities for 8-12 year olds. Cost £8.
Sunday 31st July: A Log of Fun
Visit the depths of Mugdock’s woodlands and cut your own wood to make into candle holders and other crafty things. Activities for 8-12 year olds. Cost £8.
Tuesday 2nd August: Orienteering for Young Beginners
Discover the wonderful world of orienteering whilst exploring Mugdock.
Activity for 13-16 year olds. Cost £8.
Tuesday 9th August: Whittling for Teenagers
Try your hand at the ancient art of whittling and create something from wood that you can take home afterwards. Activity for 13-16 year olds. Cost £8.
