We are delighted to bring a collection of 21 new paintings together for Erraid Gaskell's first solo show, "Fragments of Home".
"The central theme of my solo show is the idea of home, and how memories and emotions fuse with physical places to create that sense of familiarity and belonging".
Erraid graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, specialising in Fine Art in 2020. However, she never took part in a proper graduation ceremony due to Lockdowns.
For her preview on Sunday 27th March Erraid plans to bring her family and have a celebration to make up for the lack of a "proper" graduation. We really hope you'll join us in helping her to make a day to remember!
Of course, Sunday 27th is Mothering Sunday so upstairs at the gallery we have some beautiful pieces by Marion Drummond especially for all the ladies plus new work by Gill Knight.
Why not bring mum or special person in your life for a lovely day out, maybe lunch and a drive too.....
Sunday 27th March at Buchlyvie 2-5pm
