BannockYarn will be showcasing some of Scotland's finest yarn suppliers from the wonderful Bannockburn House.
This event is proudly brought to you by Bannockburn House and Coorie Creative.
This will be our first annual yarn festival, at the event will have over 25 of the country's best sellers of yarn and fiber and accessories for you to browse and buy. With a chance to speak directly with the owners of these great businesses.
We will have taster workshops, talks, guided tours, our pop-up tea room, and some delicious catering all happening on the first weekend in August.
We will have extensive seating areas for space to sit, have a chat, knit, and enjoy the idyllic surrounds of Bannockburn House and gardens.
This event is a fundraiser for Bannockburn House, where all profits from the event will go directly back into our charity to continue the amazing ongoing restoration work that we do bringing this lovely 17th-century manor house and gardens back to life.
VIP Tickets & General Tickets
With our VIP ticket, you not only get an hour early access to the event from 10:00. You will also receive a "BannockYarn Jute bag" and an official pin badge upon arrival included in your VIP ticket.
Our main ticket will get you access to the event from 11:00. You can stay as long as you want.
We are also offering a discounted ticket, which will give you late access to the event from 14:00. A perfect opportunity to pick up a bargain at the end of the day.
Please have your QR code from your online ticket either on your phone or printed out upon your arrival to ensure we can check you in as quickly as possible on the day.
Guided Tours of Bannockburn House
We will have our expert volunteer guides giving their fascinating guided tours of the house. Explaining the history and the people that have once called this house home.
These will be running throughout the weekend and can be booked as an optional extra with your ticket. These tours of Bannockburn House will last about 45/60 minutes.
Spaces for these tours are limited so be sure to book fast to avoid disappointment.
Car Park & Shuttle Service
As there isn't sufficient parking on site for this event, we will be offering a free park and ride service that will take you directly to the event.
With great thanks to a lovely local couple, who are giving us access to a large area of hardstanding which will be our car park for this event.
The shuttle bus will be running throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday.
The car park for the event itself is located across the road from Stirling Crematorium, Which is less than a 2-minute drive from Bannockburn House.

One of the description pictures shows a google map screenshot of the car park location. We will have road signs & volunteer stewards on the day to direct you where to park on the day.
Accessibilty
The majority of the event will be happening on ground level with the house and the lawns of Bannockburn House's gardens. These areas including the toilets are all accessible by wheelchair.
The guided tours of Bannockburn House will be on the first floor of the house, which is only accessible by stairs.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
