Strathyre Festival is set in the beautiful natural amphitheatre of Strathyre and is an all-age, weekend-long celebration of local arts and ideas which are designed to entertain, educate and inspire communities, young people and families in Balquhidder, Lochearnhead, Strathyre and beyond.
Committee run by BLS Community Trust volunteers and the help of local business of Strathyre.
The family, bicycle and walker friendly event is held over 3 days with wide and varied music, ranging from traditional folk and blues to a wee touch of Jazz and Rock and Roll. This year we welcome in workshops on foraging, drumming, storytelling for all ages.

Friday 2nd of September:
Ceilidh in the Strathyre Village Hall soundtracked by the Stirling Riverside Ceilidh Band.
Saturday 3rd September:
Broch Field opens up with a full lineup of bands, stalls and bar.
Breabach, pioneers of contemporary trad and winners of Best Album at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. Local legends such as Jock The Box (Box O' Banana's) and up and coming Stirling based band No Marcs. Nicky Kirk from Eabhal will play a high energy trad duo with Euan McLaughlin. Other local bands include Saltire Steel, Bad Uncle, Kerry and the Malting Boys and The Plainsmen.
Sunday 4th September:
Family day offering a range of FREE activities for young people, including: Storytelling, Music Workshops in production and drumming. Roll Outdoors are offering a great big paddle out, cycling and more...
