Thistles much-loved Santa’s Grotto is opening from Saturday 29 November until Wednesday 24 December. Families are invited to enjoy a magical festive experience while supporting Strathcarron Hospice, with all proceeds from ticket sales going directly to the local charity.
This year, Santa and his team of cheerful elves will once again welcome children into their enchanting winter wonderland. Every visit includes the chance to make special reindeer food for Rudolph and his friends, take a seat in Santa’s magical sleigh, and receive a gift from Santa himself, making it the perfect way to celebrate the season.
Santa’s Grotto will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 29 November to Sunday 21 December, as well as on Monday 22, Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 December between 10am and 5pm.
Tickets start from £7.95 per child, with all proceeds going to Thistles’ long standing charity partner, Strathcarron Hospice.
Strathcarron Hospice provides free palliative and end-of-life care for people across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. The charity focuses on helping people live well for as long as possible, offering compassionate support to patients and families. Community fundraising and donations are vital to ensuring Strathcarron can continue its essential work.
Gary Turnbull, Centre Director at Thistles, said: "Santa’s Grotto is a highlight of our festive season at Thistles, and we’re thrilled to bring the magic back for another year. It’s always wonderful to see families creating special memories together while supporting the incredible work of Strathcarron Hospice. The generosity of our shoppers makes a real difference to people in our community, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone this Christmas."
Claire Kennedy, Corporate Fundraiser at Strathcarron Hospice, said: "We’re delighted to once again partner with Thistles for their annual Santa’s Grotto. Each year, the event not only brings joy to local families but also helps us raise the funds needed to continue providing vital care to patients and their loved ones. We’re so grateful for the continued support from the Stirling community."
Visitors are encouraged to book early, as spaces fill up quickly.
