MELT is a simple, and highly effective, SELF CARE technique to get you out and keep you out of pain.
Using soft balls and a specialised roller you will be guided to assess where stuck stress lives in YOUR body - and what to do about it.
Great for those aches and pains after gardening, or fine tuning your body for better performance.
New research has revealed the missing link to pain-free living: a balanced nervous system and healthy connective tissue. These two components work together to provide your body support and optimal mind-body communication. MELT directly addresses these two systems of your body in a way no other self-treatment can, including diet and exercise.
The subject of New York Times Bestselling Book, currently published in eight languages, the MELT Method has brought pain relief and performance improvements to over 200,000 people around the world.
Who is MELT for?
MELT is for anyone who wants to slow down the aging process and live pain-free. For women and men over 40 who want to stay active, mobile, and independent – MELT is a must. MELT is also for active younger adults and athletes who want to maintain a healthy body and achieve optimal performance without debilitating wear and tear.
If you are injured, post-surgery, pregnant, overweight, sedentary, out of shape, or have limited mobility, chronic pain, knee or hip replacements, or bone disorders – you can still MELT.
It’s the best starting point for any exercise and wellness program. People who MELT regularly find that they want to exercise more often - it’s just more fun to move when your body feels good, has more energy, and is free of pain.
What to Expect?
Using specialised techniques, a soft body roller, and different small balls, MELT rehydrates the connective tissue, rebalances the nervous system, and restores space to compressed joints.
You will be guided to identify the common areas of stuck stress in your body and how, by reconnecting to your neural system, rebalancing your body through specific breath technique, and with specific position point manipulation, your connective tissue becomes more fluid - and thus able to communicate more effectively throughout your body.
You’ll see and feel results in the first session and only 10 minutes a day, three times per week, will help you stay pain free; and overtime you will gradually restore your connective tissue to health again.
Some of the programme is standing, some sitting and some on the floor. There are chairs for assistance, or feel free to bring a carer who can help you - contact me for a confidential chat on askimprovewith@gmail.com
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
